During the summer and fall of 2015, the below business owners and representatives signed a letter addressed to Governor Andrew Cuomo respectfully urging him to use his authority to veto the Port Ambrose Liquefied Natural Gas project. As members of the business community, many located in front line communities such as Long Beach, they are acutely sensitive to how Port Ambrose could harm local businesses, cost jobs, and damage vital fishing, recreation, and tourism.
